Common Troubleshooting¶

1. Verify that the LOC chosen for the IP is correct.

   • Using a LOC that is not connected to anything can result in the link repeatedly resetting, despite there being no link.

2. If you are using an SFP to receive/transmit the aurora signal, verify that the pins on the SFP are correctly driven.

   • SFPs have a "disable" pin that MUST be grounded to work.

     • If this pin is floating, the SFP will not function.
